The garden has just come out of hibernation over the holiday season due to everyones' busy schedules, but we're coming back with a vengeance! It has been so rainy lately that the weeds are overdue for a picking so that we can get ready for planting during the spring.

We just enjoyed our first work party on a Saturday, and we couldn't be more thrilled at how much we were able to accomplish! It truly was a fantastic day at the garden!

Today was a wonderful day at the garden!

It has been rainy lately at the garden, and I know that the weather was a concern for our activities today. Thankfully, the garden had dried out to a manageable state so that people weren't slipping and sliding everywhere.

Gardening in January is always somewhat tough. As I am beginning my second year with the garden, I'm wondering about what I need to do to make sure I am being as productive as possible with my garden. It is still a bit too cold to start seeds outdoors, but planning can start.
